That's right, Halo 3 has hit the shelves and lines of anxious people stretching around the buildings patiently waited for their copies of what some consider the greatest series of games ever produced. Me? I used to be one of those, but with all the hype around Halo 2 and even more so with the newest release of 3, I just don't think the game really lives up to what the hype is. My opinion is that Halo 3 is what they wanted Halo 2 to be in the first place. I do like the new maps and weapons and I even like the new button configuration though I'm still trying to us X to reload and enter vehicles, and in the process either kill myself or my teammates with this new Power Drainer. It's wicked when used correctly, I just don't know how to do that yet. The campaign is pretty good, though fairly short. The addition of being able to play co-op campaign over xbox live is sweet though, and makes it a ton more fun.
I'm thinkin' that after I play it a bit more and actually get some people to play with on a regular basis, it could be fun again. I got so burned out on H2 after playing it(the game) since the release of H1, that I'm still not sure if I'll get back into it like before; afterall, there's a lot of great games out there like RainbowSix:Vegas and COD4 is fixing to come out full force and from what I hear about the beta, this could be the game to play. Guess I'll try to figure that out when it gets here.
